NCA Membership Elects 2017-2020 Board of Directors On October 1, these three members of the National CACFP Sponsors Association will begin their three-year term on the Board of Directors. We are grateful to all candidates who offered their time to serve the CACFP Community as leaders of the association. Denise, Rhonda, and Robin are excited to serve in leadership roles for the entire membership and participate in development of programs, activities, and policy positions. We are equally grateful for the contributions of outgoing board member, Pat Siergiey of Capstone Community Action in Vermont. Her guidance and leadership in the development of nutrition education materials for the membership and entire CACFP community has been invaluable. Thank you for your service. |

Eclipse Activity Sheet We've put together a fun activity flyer for childcare providers and centers and a coloring page for children in anticipation of the eclipse later this month. Now's a great time to talk with children about the moon, the stars, and the great sun that powers our planet. Spend the week before Monday, August 21 incorporating a bit of sun fun into the day to create excitement about this rare event. It's been almost 40 years since the last eclipse was visible in the United States so likely many childrens' parents haven't ever seen one either!
