About
The National Peanut Board works to improve the economic condition of America’s peanut farmers and their families through compelling promotion and groundbreaking research. Peanuts are a healthy, affordable, delicious, plant-based food with 7 grams of protein per serving.
Since 2001, NPB has invested more than $36 million in food allergy research, education and outreach. A core part of our work is encouraging infant caregivers to help prevent peanut allergy in the next generation. The latest federal guidelines recommend introducing peanut-containing foods when other complementary foods are introduced as early as 4-6 months. Visit PreventPeanutAllergies.org for handouts, videos and more.
