General Session Speaker Announced

We don't always get to know how our work impacts the children and adults we serve, but sometimes, we get a glimpse. Jeremy's inspirational message is about people who refuse to give up on others and the incredible, life-changing, and emotional significance they have. You are those people.

CACFP Week on Social Media

Next week, we want everyone to tell their friends, neighbors, legislators, and entire community about the CACFP story during National CACFP Week.

Your work ensures that over 4.6 million children have access to healthy food. Celebrate with us!

Donuts for Breakfast?

As part of a recently proposed rule, the USDA Food and Nutrition Service team has asked for comments on allowing 2 oz eq of grain-based desserts per week in alignment with the National School Lunch program. Yes, that means granola bars would be reimbursable, but so too would be donuts, brownies, and other grain-based desserts not currently allowed.

We will be sharing our official comment letter and model comments soon.

Coronavirus Reminder

We are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and encourage you to remind program operators and participants of these following key steps in the prevention of any virus:
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you sneeze or cough.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched and used objects and surfaces.
Additionally, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta is committed to caring for our conference attendees and your safety and well-being is a top priority. We do not plan to cancel the conference and will continue working with their team to ensure specific precautionary measures are in place.

Happy Spring!

Last weekend we turned our clocks forward which means spring is just around the corner despite what the temperature is feeling like outside.
