Whole grains, such as brown rice and quinoa, are fantastic: they are delicious and nutty-tasting, versatile, and are good for you too, since they are full of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. |
Pandemic Response: Sullivan County Head Start In New York, we have been providing CACFP meals weekly for pick-up and delivery to children enrolled at all of our centers. We provide one homemade hot meal each week for the parents to reheat at home for the children. We also have sent home educational materials, toothbrushes, formula, diapers, wipes and other items as needed to families. ~ Tammy Carlsen |

Financial Relief for the CACFP Community The House passed the bill that would give financial relief to child care providers, centers, afterschool programs, emergency shelters, and sponsoring organizations. The Senate has not moved forward with it at all. Ask them to pass the bill and provide aid now. |
