USDA Food Buying Guide Webinar Series

Check out Team Nutrition's webinar series that focuses on the Food Buying Guide and the Exhibit A Grains Tool. Practice what you've learned, answer scenario-based questions for a certificate of completion and continuing education credit.
 



Spinach Egg Bake

2 1/4 cups frozen spinach
6 large eggs
1 tbsp feta cheese, crumbled
1 tsp. dehydrated onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350° F and lightly coat medium baking dish with nonstick spray. Thaw spinach, drain, and spread evenly on bottom of baking dish. Whisk remaining ingredients together and pour on top of spinach. Bake for 15 minutes, then broil on high for 2 minutes. Makes six servings that are #CACFPCreditable for 2 oz. equivalent meat alternate and 1/4 cup vegetable. Source: USDA.

Food Security Grant Application

Community organizations, early child care centers, healthcare providers and others working to ensure vulnerable young children have access to healthy food are encouraged to apply for a grant. Grants will be between $15,000-$25,000 and applications are due on December 18, 2020. Provided by No Kid Hungry, a CACFP Ally.
