Strawberry Yogurt Parfait

National Parfait Day is celebrated this Thursday, November 25. For a simple parfait that is sure to be loved by children and adults alike, layer strawberry Greek yogurt and mixed berries in a cup, making sure you use the #CACFPCreditable serving sizes for your age group. If desired, add a tablespoon of granola on top for some crunch.

Yogurt Sugar Limits

Make sure the yogurt you serve for National Parfait Day is #CACFPCreditable. Yogurt served in the CACFP must contain no more than 23 grams of sugar per 6 ounces. Use this worksheet from the USDA to ensure that you are serving the right types of yogurt in your program.
