Paycheck Protection Program

As part of the December 2020 Economic Aid Act, the Small Business Administration is offering a second round of forgivable loans. In order to qualify, you must have been in business by February 15, 2020 to be eligible. Money you received from the PPP is not taxable income and at least 60% of the PPP money must be spent on payroll. Contact your local bank to apply. The deadline is March 31, 2021.


CACFP Q&A Policy Summary

On January 5, USDA released a Q&A that included questions directly referencing CACFP such as "Can a Child Nutrition operator donate leftover food or milk to a CACFP day care home provider? How can CACFP at-risk centers track attendance to claim reimbursement for meals and snacks served to children participating virtually?"




Tabbouleh

If you haven't used bulgur in your CACFP recipes yet, give it a try with this recipe for tabbouleh from USDA! Each 1/2 cup serving provides 1/4 cup of vegetables and 1/2 oz equivalent of whole grains, making it a great addition to any lunch or supper.
