Crediting Update for the Infant Meal Pattern
Commercially prepared tofu and soy yogurt products are now creditable as meat alternates in the SFSP. Both have previously been creditable in the CACFP for children ages 1 and older, now it's been extended to infants as well.

A study by the UConn Rudd Center explores federal and state policies and practices that impact CACFP participation among child care centers. State agencies shared their approaches to program outreach and administration and strategies to decreasing barriers to program participation.
